Palojärvi Holiday Centre is a nature-oriented accommodation and event destination located south of Rovaniemi, on the shore of the clear-watered Lake Palojärvi. Open all year round, the holiday centre provides facilities for individual travellers as well as for larger celebration, meeting and camp groups. Accommodation is available in cottages of various sizes, in rooms and in connection with the main building. The area also has caravan pitches with electrical connections for recreational vehicles, as well as tent pitches. The service building houses toilet and shower facilities and a kitchen for campers to cook for themselves. Pets are welcome in some of the accommodation options. The main building houses a function restaurant and a banquet hall, suitable for hosting weddings, birthdays and corporate events. For relaxation, the area has a traditional wood-heated lakeside sauna as well as a large sauna available for booking, both with direct access to the beach and, in winter, to the ice hole. The lake and the surrounding forest areas offer good opportunities for fishing, boating, berry picking and, in winter, skiing and snowmobiling.
