Tory Urban Retreat is a wellness centre that’s been helping people relax and recharge since 1965. The Finnish Sauna at Tory Urban Retreat is a classic high-heat wood-fired sauna designed for an authentic, immersive experience. Inside, the walls are lined with natural timber, and the barrel-shaped interior promotes excellent heat circulation. Located adjacent to the urban retreat’s relaxation garden and infinity pool, the Finnish Sauna is ideal for cooling down or performing the traditional löyly ritual. Towels, shower facilities, and herbal tea are provided to enhance the post-sauna refresh. You are welcome to sauna nude or in your bathing suit . The sauna etiquette applies on mixed gender shared sauna sessions requiring guests to wear a towel around their waist. But there are mixed elements of swimwear and nudity in certain areas. Women’s only sessions are on Tuesday mornings and evenings.
