Leipis Sauna Facilities

Rental use or for members only or for customers only

The Leipis sauna facility, managed by the Student Union of the University of Vaasa (VYY), is located in the inner courtyard of the Leipätehdas property. The two-story meeting and event space can be rented not only by the union's own members but also by other students and completely outside parties. The overall facility is designed for 20–30 people. On the first floor of the building there is a sauna, a changing room, a small lounge area, a toilet, and sound equipment. The second floor, reached via narrow spiral stairs, contains the actual lounge area with table seating for 20 people, a TV screen, and separate sound equipment. Upstairs there is also an open kitchen equipped with a stovetop, dishwasher, microwave oven, and tableware for about 30 people. Due to the spiral stairs, the facilities are not accessible.
