Kantola is a functionalist building designed by Alvar Aalto, dating from 1937. The former representative home of the factory director has about 450 square meters on two floors. Located by the sea in Sunila, Kotka, Kantola breathes the design of Alvar Aalto, local industrial history and cultural heritage. Kantola has meeting rooms, banquet facilities, accommodation, exhibition spaces and guided tours of the house. Kantola also offers good opportunities for sauna bathing. The separate electrically heated beach sauna can be booked either together with a booking of the main building or separately for a sauna evening.
