About 30 camps and seminars are organized annually at Sompala, most of which are humanitarian camps supported by the Sompala Association. According to the association's rules, Sompala's goal is care and recreational activities, and the promotion of vacation opportunities, for the sensory disabled, the disabled, the elderly, war invalids, war veterans, marginalized youth, orphans, and widows.
