Verlan Neidon Yoga Retreat Home operates in an old, renovated village school that is part of an idyllic ironworks village. The place offers atmospheric yoga retreats in the nurturing energy of the old log school. The surroundings are quiet and close to nature, by the clear waters of the lakes and under a starry sky. The retreat home is part of a historically significant World Heritage area, and the whole village with its buildings belongs to a museum zone. The Repovesi National Park is also located nearby. Accommodation includes breakfast. The hostess of the place takes care of the guests' comfort, heats the wood-fired sauna, bakes, and grows lettuce and tomatoes. In the mornings you can wake up to the sound of singing bowls, do yoga, heat the sauna, or socialize with the sheep living on the mini farm. A Finnhorse stallion and a cat also live on the premises. The retreat home also offers room rental for smaller party needs or corporate wellness events, as well as tailored yoga retreats or birthdays for groups of friends. Support is also available for yoga teachers wishing to organize their own retreats.
