Western Neitsytsaari is a villa and excursion island located near Vuosaari, accessible for example by rowing or paddling. The island has a cooking shelter, a grill shelter, and a toilet. In addition to your own watercraft, Western Neitsytsaari can be reached via the Eastern Archipelago Route. You can also get to the island, for example, by SUP board or kayak, which allow you to land on either side of the island. Eastern Neitsytsaari is privately owned. The two rocky islets located to its south form the Neitsytsaari Bird Islets Nature Reserve. The sauna on Western Neitsytsaari can be booked for use through an electronic booking system for a small fee. The self-service sauna offers a traditional wood sauna experience, meaning bathers get to chop the wood themselves and heat the stove before the steam.
