Fäliskär is a former pilot island located in the outer archipelago of Maalahti, in the Rönnskären island group, which today serves as a nature and excursion harbor of the Aurinkoreitti (Solrutten). The island's most famous landmark is the historic wooden pilot cottage with its tower, a reminder of the area's past as a maritime navigation base. The sheltered excursion harbor for boaters has a jetty for mooring, and visitors also have access to a fire pit and a dry toilet on the island. The sauna located by the wooden jetty has been available for booking through Aurinkoreitti since 2019. Boat crews/cottage renters who have paid arrange usage turns among themselves.
