Ruokoniemi camping site is located on the shore of Lake Kuuhankavesi, close to services. The area has cabins, spots for tent campers, and about 50 spaces for caravans and cars. There is a kiosk, café and terrace on site, which hold A licenses (full alcohol license). Activity options in the area include a tennis court, a jogging track, a playground, fitness stairs, an outdoor gym, a beach volleyball court and a disc golf course. It is about a two-kilometer walk to the services of the village center, and the yard activities of the new school center located about 300 meters away are available for children's use.
