Camp Kontuniemi

Camp Kontuniemi is the summer place of the Oulu Region Peacekeepers. It is located on the shore of the beautiful, clear-watered Lake Valkiaisjärvi on a plot of a few hectares. On the shore there is a lakeside sauna and a covered terrace, a long pier, a boat, a barbecue spot, a woodshed and storage buildings. The sauna building has a sauna, a washroom and a fireplace room. The cottage is an old two-storey log house about 100 m from the shore. The cottage is also rented out to non-members.
