Kaariaisten Kipinät ry is a village association founded in 1968. Nowadays the association organizes activities for its members at the cottage, at the school, and in the form of various trips. The cottage was completed in 1983 through volunteer work on a plot owned by the city of Laitila, on the shore of Lake Kaurajärvi. The shore has a sandy bottom, and there is also a slide for children by the beach. In winter, the winter swimming hole is kept open by the members' enthusiastic winter swimming group. The cottage has separate saunas and changing rooms for men and women. The lounge area has a kitchen. There is no running water in the cottage. There is also a grill shelter in the yard. The cottage can be rented all year round. The exception is Wednesdays, when the association heats the sauna for its members.
