Hiskinmökki

Hiskinmökki, located in the center of Äänekoski, is the town's oldest building, which has been renovated and can be rented by anyone. It has indeed been very popular. Next to it is a log sauna building dating from the 1800s, which was opened in 2023 after being fully renovated. The frame of the benches is built from sturdy logs, and the benches themselves are made of thick planks. The sauna has both a wood-fired and an electric stove. The building has running water, a shower and a toilet. The small cabin's little room has a stove, and the equipment also includes a refrigerator.
