Ylikylän Erä hunting lodge Ylikylän Erä ry was founded in 1958 by hunting enthusiasts. The association has 222 members, of which 22 are women. Game management has been a central part of the association's activities. The association has annually acquired salt licks for game and has actively participated in small predator hunting. The association's own hunting lodge was built in 1987 at the southern end of Hoikkalampi. This hunting lodge has been in active use and has also been rented out to non-members of the association.
