Kemin Työväen Pursiseura ry (KTPS) is a boating association founded in 1964, whose activities aim to promote safe boating on the water for junior and adult sailors. The association's pavilion is located in Kemi's Inner Harbour at the Uleninranta sailing centre. In addition, the association has its own island base at Syväletto, which includes a lodge building, a sauna, a lean-to shelter, and members' cottages. The association organises adult sailing courses in May-June, and has two H-boats at its disposal, which are used in training, competitions, and members' own use. For young sailors, the association offers Optimist and Zoom8 dinghies for the early stages of the hobby. In addition to boating activities, KTPS rents out its pavilion's sauna and meeting facilities for outside use from September to May.
