The Cable Factory is a large cultural center that operates in the premises of the former Finnish Cable Factory production facility. The plant was once Finland's largest building. Today the premises house museums, galleries, artists' studios, dance and theater rehearsal spaces, and numerous companies. The cultural center's premises also include the bookable sauna Verner, located on the eighth floor of the building. The sauna was built on the site of former CEO Verner Weckman's greenhouse. The sauna's specialty is its construction method, in which a modern log sauna has been placed inside the industrial building as a separate structure. In addition to the steam room, the Verner sauna's facilities include shower rooms, a changing room, and a lounge area with a kitchenette. From the sauna and its terrace there are views over Ruoholahti and Helsinki.
