Original Sokos Hotel Kaarle is located at the edge of Kokkola's market square. The room selection ranges from Standard rooms to a junior suite, and the hotel also has theme rooms. The sauna is heated daily in the evenings and the gym is available around the clock. The hotel also houses Restaurant Vastaranta, open for lunch on weekdays and in the evenings and weekends by advance reservation, the tex-mex restaurant Amarillo, the nightclub Calle Nightclub, and in summer the seaside à la carte restaurant Mustakari. It's worth noting that on weekends the noise from the nightclub can be heard in some of the rooms.
