Porojärvi Rental Cabin

The Reindeer Lake rental hut is a demanding wilderness destination. Getting there requires orienteering skills. The site is not accessible during the spring thaw. The rental hut consists of two small cabins in the Käsivarsi Wilderness Area at the end of Porojärvi. The hut is known as the UKK cabin, because it served as the base for President Kekkonen's skiing trips in Käsivarsi. The distance to the hut across the terrain from the village of Kilpisjärvi is 45 km. There is a separate lakeside sauna in the yard. The rental hut is an overnight accommodation that is rented out entirely for your own use.
