Söderstrand is a small rural bed & breakfast on the shore of Ahvenkoski. The place is located in a Natura area, with sea views, rocky coastal views and nearby forests. The house was built in the 1920s, and its yard has three barn rooms, each accommodating 2-4 people. The rooms are named Tammi, Kataja and Pihlaja, and they have been renovated and equipped with underfloor heating. Each room has a view of the sea. On site there is a beach sauna, an outdoor hot tub, a pier, a sandy beach and own boats. Guests can borrow bicycles, fish, go on forest excursions, pick mushrooms and berries according to the season. Canoe and SUP board are offered as additional services. In the evening shade, the autumn and winter seasons offer clear night sky views, as the nearest street lights are far away.
