Malmbacka is a private cultural-historical area and cottage and charcoal burners' village located in Snappertuna, Raasepori. The place offers accommodation in the area's cottages as well as in traditional charcoal burners' huts, where guests sleep on sheepskins. In addition to accommodation, visitors have the opportunity to learn about the history of charcoal burning, prepare food over an open fire, and spend time in the surrounding nature, for example hiking and cycling. Malmbacka organizes various activities and guided tours for groups, companies, and schools upon request. A traditional charcoal-burning weekend related to the theme is also held annually in September. Overnight guests may use the sauna free of charge. The sauna can also be booked separately for a fee, in which case it must be heated by the guest.
