Lentiira Holiday Village is a tourism business located near Kainuu's eastern border, offering traditional cabin accommodation, a camping area, and nature activities year-round. The site is located at the far end of Petäjäniemi on the shore of Lake Lentiira, and it has been run under its current concept since 1967. The site's services include a wood-heated smoke sauna and a swimming pier on the shore. The area also has a log-built kota (hut) and a campfire site. The activity offerings focus on Kainuu's nature and traditional outdoor pursuits, such as fishing, hunting, canoeing, hiking, and cycling. In winter, the program includes classic winter trekking activities and husky safaris, and the light-pollution-free environment also provides a setting for watching the northern lights. Equipment can be rented on site during both the summer and winter seasons.
