Oulu Pensioners' Association is a politically unaffiliated local association that organizes hobby, exercise, and recreational activities for elderly people. The association's purpose is to promote the mental and physical well-being of its members and to provide a social and communal meeting place for seniors in the area. The association's activities are divided seasonally between two main locations: during the autumn and spring terms, meetings are held at the Oulu10 government office building in downtown Oulu, while during the summer months activities move entirely to the Vaaskela activity center located in Hietasaari.
