The Kavalahti Sauna Cottage in Inkoo, rented by the Helsinki Metropolitan Area Scout Foundation, is a facility designed for about 15 people, well suited for day use, meetings and evening gatherings. The building has two electrically heated saunas with washing facilities, as well as a separate wood-heated beach sauna. The cottage has a fireplace, meeting equipment and a small kitchen, whose dishes and cutlery are fetched from the adjacent service building. Overnight stays are not allowed indoors, and the toilets are located in separate outbuildings. Most of the people booking the scout cabins are scouts and various scouting organizations, but all of the Scout Foundation's sites can also be booked by users outside scouting. Scout bookings are usually concentrated on weekends, so especially on weekdays there is often plenty of space available at the sites.
