Hevossalmen lomakylä

Hevossalmen lomakylä is located on an approximately 1.6-hectare shore area in Laajasalo, rented from the City of Helsinki. The area has 14 cabins, some of which are suitable for wheelchair users, a main building with lounge and dining areas, a self-service kitchen, separate washing and changing facilities for men and women with an accessible toilet. The holiday village's cabins are rented only to members of the Helsinki Association of the Disabled. HIY is not a diagnosis-based association, and disability has not been a membership requirement for years. The sauna building has a fireplace lounge for 10–20 people. Paid sauna shifts are held twice a week, separately for men and women. The weekday sauna shift is included in the cabin rental.
