A small wood-heated raft sauna floats at the shore of a former 150-year-old carpentry workshop, now a café. The changing rooms are in the raft's other container. There are no showers. The stove is perhaps a touch too small for the sauna, and the firebox is often packed too full of wood for the burning process to have proper room. Swimming in the Nokianvirta river is possible using the pier's rescue ladder on the calm-water side. Elsewhere no ladders reach the water, and the current would carry you away. From the pier you can admire the high Emäkoski bridge passing alongside.
