This sauna has public shifts

In the yard of an old, dilapidated dairy stands a sauna and washing house built in 1925. The facilities have seen their best days, but that lends a pleasant authenticity and uniqueness to the sauna experience. You can go for a dip in the nearby river in between sauna sessions. There are no washing facilities, but in the sauna you can rinse the sweat off with a battery-powered shower. The sauna is kept by the owner of the dairy property, but it operates on a village sauna basis. The sauna is often heated on weekends. Announcements about when it's warm are posted on Facebook. You can also heat it yourself. Women have their own turn for a dip. In 2025, the Metsämaan dairy sauna turns one hundred years old!
