Restaurant LaBra is a cosy and atmospheric meeting place offering lunch, dinner and weekend brunch alike. There are space options for everything from intimate meetings to larger private events. The premises also include a rooftop terrace and sauna facilities. The building is known as Konelabra, and it was originally built for the use of the Helsinki University of Technology. The complex was completed in two phases, in 1925 and 1933. For decades the building served as a centre of engineering studies. It was brought back to life in an extensive renovation in 2024–2025. The former laboratories and teaching spaces were converted into modern loft offices and commercial premises. Restaurant LaBra opened its doors on the ground floor of this renewed Konelabra block in the spring of 2025. The restaurant's name, LaBra, is a direct tribute to the building's hundred-year history as a laboratory.
