Sukkerbiten is Norway’s — and perhaps the world’s — largest floating sauna village. Each sauna has its own architectural style, creating a colorful oasis in the city. The village is centrally located, just outside the Opera House and the Munch Museum, and is a 7–8 minute walk from Oslo Central Station. All saunas have ladders into the fjord. Extra-wide, comfortable stairs are available on the main pier to the south and on the Trosten terrace. You can jump or dive from some of the sauna roofs. Remember to bring your own padlock for the locker.
