Matsi farm was established in the early 1700s in the village of Metsara, the smallest village in Pöide municipality. The first records in the church books were made in 1724. The current main building dates from 1775. The farm previously belonged to the Neuenhof manor. The current owners bought the farm in 1999 and have renovated the buildings while preserving their original spirit. The farm's six buildings include the main building, a sauna, a threshing barn, a storehouse, and a former cowshed, which is used as a function and meeting space. Accommodation is available in several buildings. Around the farm there are about 50 hectares of meadows and forest.
