The Kotkaniemi museum and Café Ellen, located in Luumäki, are regularly open to the public from May to August. In addition to the home museum, Kotkaniemi has a café, meeting facilities, a garden, a beach sauna and a nature trail. The sauna, located on the shore of Lake Kivijärvi, was built in the 1980s by Jorma Svinhufvud, grandson of P. E. Svinhufvud. The sauna has been renovated during 2020-2021. The facilities include a refrigerator and a swimming dock. The sauna can only be rented during the summer season.
