This sauna has public shifts

A sauna open to everyone, run by the Päijänne Recreation Area Association, on Kalasaari. The island is easy to reach, for example by paddleboard from Salmiranta beach. For this reason, unlike other Päijänne saunas, this one also has visitors other than boaters. Sauna turns should be marked on the board at the grill shelter, but fortunately few seem to do so, and you can usually always get into the sauna along with others. The sauna operates on a self-service basis, meaning you chop the wood and light the stove yourself. Payment is made by bank transfer. The sauna has one changing room.
