Hyypiö is a rental cabin maintained by Metsähallitus, located within Liesjärvi National Park. Situated on the shore of Lake Kyynäränjärvi and surrounded by a light, bright forest yard, the site can be rented year-round for exclusive private use. The roughly 40-square-meter cabin has a kitchen and a main room, and offers four bed spaces in two bunk beds with mattresses, blankets, and pillows. The site has no electricity or running water, and heating is handled by the kitchen's wood stove and the cabin's fireplace. A gas stove as well as cooking and dining utensils are available for meal preparation. The yard includes a separate sauna building, a dry toilet, a woodshed, a fire pit, a waste sorting point, and a rowboat. The well next to the sauna also works in winter, but as with natural water sources, it is recommended to boil the water before drinking it.
