Paalitupa is an outdoor cabin on the shore of Lake Paalijärvi used by members of Riihilatu ry. The cabin is suitable for day trips. It has a cottage and a sauna as well as a grilling spot. In summer a boat and canoe are also available. At Paalitupa you can swim and sauna, paddle, hike, or even fish. Riihilatu ry, founded in 1970, is a member association of Suomen Latu operating in fitness exercise and outdoor recreation, with over 600 members. The association promotes exercise and outdoor activity among the people of Riihimäki and the surrounding area, which also includes organizing various events in nature. During the year, various main events related to outdoor activities and exercise are organized. Riihilatu's activities are maintained by sections, of which our most important forms of hobby are mountain biking, trail running, snowshoeing, walking, Nordic walking, paddling, and hiking and skiing treks in both southern and northern Finland. In addition, Riihilatu has a cabin rented from the city at Paalijärvi, where it is possible to boat, paddle, and also sauna.
