Nurmes Fishing Hut

The largest and most beautiful island of Rauma's naturally scenic archipelago is Nurmes. It is located in the middle of Selkämeri National Park, a pleasant boat trip of about half an hour from the mainland. In the 1980s, the Rauma-based company Hollming Oy had the log-built "Kalamaja" and a smoke sauna built on the island for staff recreation, training and representation purposes. Now Kalamaja is open for companies' meeting and recreational use, offering ideal settings for groups seeking privacy, peace and the recreation nature provides.
