In this beautiful rural landscape of Central Finland, guests have been hosted and accommodated for over 30 years. The farm hosts family celebrations, meetings and family holidays alike. Old folk say that during the Great Wrath, the Russians caught up with a chaplain from Jämsä who had fled with the church's silver items, and drowned him in the lake. The lake was named Surkee, and the nearest house was named after the lake.
