Savikylä Hunting Club Tapiola Lodge

One of the most active associations in Savikylä is the hunting club Savikylän Tapiola. Founded in 1958, the club focuses on moose and small game hunting. The club has its own hunting lodge, a smoke sauna, a wood-heated sauna, a kota (teepee-like hut), and facilities for skinning and butchering moose. In addition to hunting, the club's activities include events organized for villagers, such as game feasts and ice-fishing competitions. The club's lodge is used for village events and is also rented out to outsiders. The lodge has sleeping places for 10 people. The price includes use of the wood-heated sauna.
