Karhunkolo (Bear's Den), owned by the Kirkkonummi Forest Walkers, is a scout cabin and camping area located near Humaljärvi, serving as a base for excursions and training courses. The property, about three kilometres from the centre of Kirkkonummi, includes an electrified log cabin whose main room and loft offer floor-sleeping space for a group of about twenty people. The yard also has a separate sauna building, a campfire site and a well, and the nine-hectare wooded lot provides a wilderness-like setting for activities, even though the shore is hard to reach. The site is primarily for the use of scouts, but it is also rented out to outside groups when the booking situation allows. The lot extends all the way to the shore of neighbouring Humaljärvi, but the route to the shore is hard going.
