Laukka Farm

Laukka farm is located in the village of Pulkkila and is one of the oldest ancestral farmsteads in the area. The residential building standing in the yard, dated as a smoke cottage, dates from 1693–1697, making it one of the oldest historical houses in Pulkkila. The yard has a traditional enclosed courtyard arrangement, and there are also wood storage structures, a new building, and saunas outside the house. The farm's mistress and master live on site together with pet sheep and cats. Handicrafts are made on the farm from sheep's wool, which makes the products ecologically and ethically responsible local handicrafts made from domestic raw materials.
