SFC Hietajärvi

SFC-Hietajärvi is a caravan and camping site located in Tohmajärvi, North Karelia, maintained by SF-Caravan Pohjois-Karjala ry. The area is located on the shore of the clear-watered, sandy-beached Lake Hietajärvi, and it is open all year round. The site offers electrified spots for caravans as well as tent sites, and the area also has seasonal residents. The area's facilities include a main building with a kitchen and dining area, showers, and WC facilities. For sauna bathing, there are shore saunas on the beach that are regularly heated for campers' use. In addition, the area has a grill shelter, campfire spots, a play area for children, and the possibility of renting a rowboat. The lake and its surroundings provide opportunities for swimming, fishing, and outdoor activities. On summer Saturdays, a smoke sauna is also heated, which serves as a communal swimsuit sauna.
