This sauna has public shifts

Border Island (Rajalansaari) is a nature destination located in Luopioinen, reached across Vähäsalmi by a manually pulled cable ferry. A guided nature trail circles the island. There is no electricity grid, drinking water well or waste bins on the island. The smoke sauna on the island has public sessions in summer, and it can also be rented for private use. Around the smoke sauna there is a swimming pier and a sandy-bottomed beach. Sauna-goers also have access to a cooking shelter with a stove, a grill and a small fireplace. In addition, the area has a simple log cabin providing accommodation for 6–10 people, as well as an outdoor kitchen and a campfire site.
