Uunisauna is a unique boutique sauna in the old ironworks setting of Högfors in Karkkila, an experience built into a former enameling furnace, where industrial history meets modern sauna culture. Opened in June 2022, the sauna offers an atmospheric setting where a wood-burning IKI stove, large windows overlooking the Karjaanjoki river landscape, and factory aesthetics create an unforgettable experience. The sauna space comfortably fits 5 people on the benches and a total of 10 people in the facilities at a time. In the sauna you can add wood yourself and admire the Karjaanjoki river through the large window. Uunisauna Uunisauna also offers public sauna sessions, which require advance booking. In addition, various events such as yoga classes and art workshops are held on the premises, enriching the sauna experience. A café and boutique operate in connection with the sauna, where you can purchase local products and enjoy refreshments. The other services of the old factory building are also easily accessible.
