OPEN SAUNA MAP

An atmospheric bridge leads from the mainland to the camp centre at Virtasalmi, which is in summer use. The main building of Leirisaari was built in 1952. The extension was completed in the early 1990s. In addition to the main building, the island has a lakeside sauna and a barbecue shelter for outdoor gatherings. The Pieksämäki parish organises sauna evenings for men.
