Gáldu Hotel & Spa is a boutique hotel opened in November 2025, located in Laanila on the edge of Urho Kekkonen National Park near Saariselkä. The hotel offers a luxurious and peaceful getaway amid Lapland's pristine nature. Its name, Gáldu, is Sámi and means a cold spring or a winter swimming hole, referring to the hotel's unique outdoor spa, described as the world's northernmost. Accommodation options include 31 spacious 25-square-meter premium rooms, equipped with high-quality furnishings and spa-style bathrooms. In addition, there are two 50-square-meter suites offering panoramic views and top-level comfort. The hotel also has a top-class restaurant that combines local ingredients with international flavors, as well as a forest spa for relaxation.
